This past June, frustrated with poor server performance and even poorer customer support, I decided to bite the bullet and move all websites to a new, dedicated server managed by WiredTree. The results have been jaw-dropping.
In June, my old VPS had an abysmal 96.27% uptime, resulting in 1 day, 2 hours, and 50 minutes of downtime. That is over a full day that all websites were down. Terrible!
In July, on the new WiredTree dedicated server had a 100% uptime. No outages whatsover.
Also, the average response time went from 2.5 seconds on the old VPS to .25 seconds on the new server.
